The Event & Community Manager is responsible for leading the event strategy and execution for events around the world as well as accelerating CAST AI's community engagement. This role will oversee CAST AI's presence at large in-person and virtual conferences, meetups, and tradeshows. Collaboration with internal stakeholders will be essential to ensure that goals, marketing and communication objectives, budgets, and deadlines are met.

As our new Event & Community Manager, you will:

• Research and vet new events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities that align with business goals

• Set clear objectives and targets for events, alongside plans for how to meet these

• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to create impactful messaging and communication strategies pre, during, and post-event

• Coordinate interactions between executives and external stakeholders during the events

• Gather feedback and data after an event and use it to inform decisions/future plans

• Negotiate sponsorship deals

• Work within a budget and manage spending accordingly

• Create and provide event reports that include budget, leads, ROI, etc.

• Develop and execute engaging digital campaigns on Discord and other channels on behalf of CAST AI

• Organize and execute CAST AI events

• Represent CAST AI in community-driven events

What is required to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing (or related field), or relevant professional experience

• Previous experience in a tech startup is essential

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event management

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with all key stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to perform in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
